Yup, you read it correctly! I have started on the 30 Day Shred Workout program from trainer extraordinaire, Jillian Michaels. You may know her from the Biggest Loser, I just know her from my subscription to SELF magazine.
The workout is comprised of 3 levels and you do each level for 10 days straight before you move on to the next level. Jillian Michaels works your entire body - working on abs, arms, legs and mixed in with cardio.
I'm up to DAY 5 - Level 2. What I will be doing and have done is each level for 15 days just to give me an extra push. Another thing, I have not done them consecutively. I have skipped a few days in between.
The progress at Day 20 (overall) - I've lost 2 inches all over my body. I still have no idea what I weigh because I do not have a scale but will be purchasing one soon. I've noticed how my body is taking shape and toning already so what I might do is extend this Level to 20 days and Level 3 to 20 days and see how I look at the end of that.

ReplyDeleteI am on Level 2 - Day 19 (today.) I decided to do each level for more than 10 days. So for Level 1, I did it for 15 days and Level 2 and 3, I'm doing it for 20 days.
I have noticed a significant change. I do also do zumba and run in between days I don't do Jillian for added exercises. I have lost about 11 pounds and 2 inches all over. The biggest change is the definition in my muscles in my legs and arms. My ab is a little weak still and I'm sure I'll be working on that for a long time.
