The Revolution: Inspiration from the Harris Sisters

The Revolution, a new daytime show on ABC, following in the same footprints as The Chew. This show focuses on you! - your life, your body, your health, your fashion! It's a fantastic idea and every week, they feature what is called a "Hero"; someone who has opened their life to the camera in hopes to inspire the rest of us. They tackle a five month transformation and every day represents one month since their transformation started.

The premiere week feature sisters Jamilla & Cherelle. They are sisters that are best friends and at times are co-dependent on each other. They want to cut the fried foods from their diets, find new relationships since they are both single and learn how to live independently from each other.

Cherrell's starting weight was 236 pounds. Jamilla weighed in at 246 pounds when their revolution started five months ago. The sisters revealed their dramatic transformation with a makeover from Tim Gunn's Goal Outfits.

For their last weigh in, the sisters stepped on the scale to find out how much they'd lost since starting The Revolution. Cherrell's new weight: 179, a total weight loss of 57 pounds in five months. That's more than 10 pounds per month.

Jamilla took her turn on the scale and found out she now weighs 194 pounds, a total weight loss of 52 pounds in five months. Combined, they have lost a total of 109 pounds.

They were such an inspiration to me because of course, they did not have surgeries done. They did it with diet and exercise and ultimately they changed their lifestyle by walking more, taking more steps, moving at every chance they got. That's what I want to do in my life. CHANGE FOR GOOD!

Here's some tips on how they did it:
